Primary Purpose of the Job:
directs, coordinates, manages and provides
Petrophysical support to all well Integrity activities in Dukhan.
- Analyzing log data and building
database as well as providing logging alternatives to enhance well
integrity investigations using electric-line logging technologies such as
Production logging, Leak detection logging, Corrosion evaluation, Cement
bond evaluations, Behind pipe flow characterization, Down-hole Video
technique conveyed by electric-line, Fiber-optic technology and many
others…
- Liaises with FD and the drilling
departments to consolidate historical data of the wells and incorporate
them within the present conditions for proper decision making. Seek new technologies
to solve well integrity problems and conduct trial jobs in order to
validate them. Develops and mentors less experienced personnel.
- Minimum of Degree in Petroleum
engineering or Geophysical engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
or equivalent.
Experience & Skills:
Minimum 15+ years experience as a Petrophysicist with
demonstrated work experience in electric-line logging, logging operations (for
both Open hole and Cased Hole activities), log interpretations as well as well
integrity operations and Engineering.
- Strong commitment to QP Health,
Safety and Environment rules and regulations.
- Excellent experience in contract
management including tendering processes and technical evaluations.
- Very good knowledge of QMS,
procedure writing, ISO certification and audits.
- Advanced Open-Hole and Cased
Hole interpretation skills with demonstrated experience in Cement Bond
Logging, Corrosion Logging, Production Logging, Pulsed neutron.
- Good understanding of the
corrosion and cementing processes.
- Familiar with the cased hole
logging operations mainly riglessly.
- Proven experience in working
within a multidisciplinary / multi-cultural team and preferably in a
multinational environment.
- Problem solving skills and the
ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the company as well as
commercial awareness.
- Enthusiastic and have good
abilities to cooperate with other team members and have good contact with
people.
